This material is 8 mils thick - similar to thickness feel of two high quality business cards. Wash your hands before touching and only use a microfiber cloth and liquid glass cleaner to clean. It is much thinner than a glass or plexiglass mirror and more easily scratched, however it will not shatter and is very safe. Included adhesive tabs hold to most clean smooth surfaces. Fabrics, rough or greasy surfaces should be avoided. The large size only weighs 9 ounces so even a cardboard sheet can be a great mounting surface.
